Nokia announced the Nokia 6500 classic and Nokia 6500 slide for mid-range market with 3G technology.

Nokia 6500 Classic – (above right) Series 40 phone, WCDMA 850/2100, GSM/EGSM 850/900/1800/1900, 320 x 240 pixels display, 1 GB of internal memory, 2 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, Bluetooth, Unified MicroUSB port for charging, data and audio and an integrated music player support.

Nokia 6500 Slide – (above left) A series 40 phone, WCDMA 850/2100, GSM/EGSM 850/900/1800/1900, 320 x 240 pixels display, 3.2 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and 8x digital zoom, TV Out function for sharing images and videos, Micro USB, Bluetooth, Push e-mail with attachments, microSD memory card up to 4GB and Sterio FM radio with RDS support.
