Nokia introduced Widsets and Mobiledu in China

it looks like – Nokia has timely identified one of the biggest markets – China, and has fasten its seat belts.

Recenly, Nokia signed agreement with Tsinghua University, China to establish a research framework and a facility dedicated to long term joint research programs.

Now, Nokia introduced two mobile Internet services for the China market.

  • Widsets – the China’s first mobile internet service,to bring online communities and personalized internet to mobile phones. Chinese version of Widsets.com
  • Mobiledu – Learning English on the go – the China’s first interactive mobile learning service, integrating teaching material from a variety of educational organizations. Currently, Mobiledu supports most of Nokia Series 40 and S60 platform based phones and all other mobile phones that support KJava applications.
