Nokia and Vodafone launched a new website www.shareideas.org – an online community and a wiki for sharing ideas on how to use mobile communications for social and environmental benefits. .
The idea for ShareIdeas.org came from Ndidi Nwuneli, founder and CEO of LEAP Africa, a Nigerian NGO dedicated to nurturing a new generation of African leaders.
Case studies are grouped into six key areas – civic engagement, economic empowerment, education, environment, health and safety, and humanitarian relief projects – topics chosen after consultation with many NGOs.
To be truly useful, this site depends on the active participation of its community members. Help build a dynamic learning community by encouraging others to participate.
