The GsmArena reviewed the Samsung Galaxy Pro B7510 and as per their review: “Samsung’s QWERTY messengers have not exactly been setting the world on fire. They have done well though to set the scene for this one. The Samsung Galaxy Pro B7510 follows on the heels of Omnia and Corby. It puts Android in a time-tested form factor and is ready to entertain upgraders coming from dumbphones and PocketPCs alike. The Galaxy Pro has a clear objective – deliver the full Android experience, a good social package and hassle-free messaging. What does it need to meet those tasks? Well, a comfortable QWERTY keyboard obviously, possibly a touchscreen, enough processing power and at least some basic shooting skills to capture the important moments.”

The Trusted Reviews reviewed the Samsung Galaxy Ace and as per their review “The Samsung Galaxy Ace isn’t as spectacular as its name suggests but it is a competent budget smartphone. As ever, the Orange San Francisco makes for a compelling alternative thanks to its larger, higher resolution screen, but the Ace has a nicer design, faster processor and better camera.”

Teamed Up to Form Mobile High-Definition Interface Working Group

So they all are teamed up to form Mobile High Definition Interface Working Group. Who ? The Nokia, Samsung, Silicon Image, Sony and Toshiba Corporation. I think it’s really a great news.

I always like two approaches in the industry one the real competition and the second to team up and work jointly for some great innovative achievement. And the same is happening here – all these companies are intended to create an industry standard for an audio/video interface to connect mobile phones or portable consumer electronics (CE) devices directly to high-definition televisions (HDTVs) and displays.

This new mobile connectivity standard, based on Silicon Image’s Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL) technology, will be defined, promoted and marketed by the Working Group as an industry standard open to anyone desiring to be an adopter and enable the development of mobile products that adhere to this new standard across a broad connectivity ecosystem.

It is also expected that the working group will organize a Consortium of founding members who will develop a mobile connectivity technology standard specification that governs transmission and reception of high-definition content between portable devices and display devices, to support connectivity in accordance with the new specification.

Samsung launches CorbyTXT and CorbyPRO

Samsung extended the choice of youth audiance after launching the Samsung Corby (S3650). The new Corby family devices are CorbyTXT (B3210) and CorbyPRO (B5310).

The newly designed devices are targeted to meet varied needs of youth market. The key features of the devices are – multimedia, messaging, business functionality, pop style contours and curved form factor.

The CorbyTXT is a message-centric device – with support of QWERT keyboard on the face pf phone, SMS and IM features, camera, messaging application and social media uploading functionality. The CorbyTXT is expected to be launched in Europe by the end of September.

On the other hand CorbyPRO adds a full slide out QWERTY keyboard and is a hybrid slider. The other key features include 3 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, 3G/HSDPA and quad band connectivity, multimedia, push email, conversational SMS, access to MySpace and Facebook. The CorbyPRO is expected to be launched in Europe by November.

Samsung F110 Adidas – Live Picture

Recently find a nice picture of Samsung’s upcoming phone F110 Adidas. It’s a slider phone and expected to be integrated with 2 megapixel camera, 2 inch QVGA color display, MP3 player and FM radio. The phone will also be able to measure, distance, speed, pulse and calories. The official announcement is expected in November.

Samsung unveiled its mid to low end – E210 Clamshell phone. The phone is based on the technologies of D830 Clamshell phone. The phone features – 120 x 160 display, 1.3 megapixel camera, 10 MB of Internal memory, microSD memory card slot, USB and Bluetooth support. The phone also support GSM 900/1800/1900.

There is a competition of innovative and featured rich mobile phones. Each manufacturer is trying its best to introduce the feature rich handsets.
